I tutor the IB Extended Essay and usually work with students who have a rough topic but need help turning it into a proper research question. Sessions focus on planning, source choice, argument structure and making the essay analytical rather than descriptive. I’m quite practical with feedback and often use shared drafts so students can see exactly what needs tightening before the next stage.

I’ve supported IB Extended Essay students for seven years, across subjects such as History, English, Psychology and Global Politics. My lessons are structured around the EE criteria, research planning and draft development. I’m particularly useful when students have too much material and cannot decide what belongs in the essay. I also help with reflections, citations and keeping the argument focused.

Hi, I’m an IB Extended Essay tutor with a background in academic writing and research. I help students get from a messy first idea to a clear outline, then work through each section without making it sound over-edited. I like using real examples of introductions, analysis paragraphs and conclusions so students can see what strong writing looks like. I also check whether the research question is actually answerable.

I specialise in IB Extended Essay support and mostly work with students in the middle of the process, when the topic is chosen but the structure still feels unclear. A typical session might involve reviewing sources, reshaping the argument or improving the link between evidence and analysis. I’m careful not to rewrite for students, but I do give direct comments on clarity, scope and academic tone.

I’ve tutored IB Extended Essay students for over ten years, including projects in Economics, Business Management, History and English. My style is calm but detailed. I ask students to explain their argument out loud first, then we organise the essay so each section has a clear purpose. I also spend time on the reflection forms, because many students leave them too vague or write them in a rushed way.

I tutor the IB Extended Essay online and mainly help students who feel stuck after collecting sources. We usually start by checking the research question, then build a working structure and decide what evidence is worth keeping. I’m especially focused on analysis, referencing and making the essay sound like the student’s own work. For final drafts, I look closely at flow, criteria and presentation.
